Penn 716Z 4200SS 420SS Replacement Drag Knob 52-716 1183835 made in USA

Custom made replacement drag knob for the old classic USA made Penn 716Z, 4200SS and 420SS open face spinning reels. 

The original drag caps (part number 52-716) from Penn were made of an acrylic plastic which crack and spilt apart over time and are no longer being produced by Penn. This is a direct replacement. 

PLEASE VERIFY THE CORRECT REEL SIZE. The 716 (in this listing) IS SMALLER than the 714. See photos for details.

Made with a naval brass insert machined specifically to fit the original spool shaft and the plastic body is printed with engineering grade nylon carbon fiber fill. Very tough, chemical and heat resistant. Extremely durable even in saltwater conditions. 

Version 2 now made with PPA Nylon. Manufactured and shipped from Florida, USA.
